BOOTY BAND LAT ACTIVATION

I think I (re)discovered a new move to help those having a hard time activating their latissimus dorsi.

The lats help to hold the shoulder in a stable position, whether that’s a plank or squat or deadlift. You want this large muscle group ‘on’ to help connect the shoulders and hips together. If you have tight upper traps, this is your medicine

With straight locked out arms, grab a light looped band around your wrists. Brace your abs and butt and get tight in your armpits(pack shoulders away from your ears).

Maintaining all this tension, drive one straight arm down. Repeat with the other side. Try it out and let me know how it goes!
